Wells? Why would you say that? Averaging 17 possies this year and 4 tackles per game, well above average for a AFL player....he is quality, almost every possie is put to advantage...he also had 17 possies in the first half on Sunday before getting injured

Also is still only 23, feel he is the type who will keep getting better and better as he matures....

Agree with the calls on Daniel Harris, the best extractor in the game IMO, very hard to tackle, I cringe when we dont have him

Also agree the most over rated is Westhoff....had a great first half of last year but done ZERO since, apart from shitting himself in last years finals...

Very interesting, almost a who's who of over-rated and inconsistant players. Goddard and Brennan 2 prime examples. Wells and Mackie the pick of the better performed ones, IMO.

O'Keefe from Sydney is still underrated in my opinion. I understand he is of course rated but if he was playing in Melbourne then we would be hearing alot more about how good he really is.

Most overrated - Brett Burton without a doubt.
Can take a good speccie, but I've never seen him put his body on the line for his team-mates.
Just gets his goals from speccies and slutting off the back of the pack.
Justin Koschitske, Dustin Fletcher, Nathan Brown, Nick Davis, Brad Green, Jeff Farmer, Des Headland and Brendon Goddard not too far behind.

Most underrated - Sam Fisher, Darren Milburn, Tim Notting, Joel Patful, Paul Medhurst, Daniel Bell and David Rodan.

Nice one Chuck, I've held of on Joel as there's a natural bias on my behalf being a Legs man, but I think he's been excellent for the last season and a half.

Well for mine I think Stevo is a good player, but don't rate him as high as some other might.

BTW, another name I forgot as under-rated....Pfeiffs !!

Wells - he's had a good year and is a good player. He was potentially over-hyped as any top 10 draft pick is, and he hasn't yet delivered like his peers (such as Bartel, Hodge, Corey, Mitchell)

Mitchell was nowhere near the top ten in 2001........in the 30's i reckon .HFC got Hodge,Elstone & Mitchell in that order for Trent Croad using Freo's picks and then got him back 2 years later for pick 20 OR 30 (Riley Dunn..... nice work Freo)

As a crows supporter i think its laughable to see BUrton named as over rated.... he never even got mentioned till this year when he has been a star for us up forward... contested marks and kicking straight.
