This time last year they were top with Cousins to come back. I think it shows how much they relied on such a small minority of players and that there were alot of passengers in that squad. They would want to hope Kerr doesnt pack up his bags and want to go home because if he does they are in diabolical trouble. Lets not forget they are getting belted by Carlton at Subiaco. If they cant win in Perth they will win no where.....

I thought it was just that they had lost their supply of energy giving medication!

- Currently 1-5 (15th 66.9%)
- Have scored only 15 more points than the Demons
- Coach has said that they are now playing for next year
- Kerr before tribunal (potential 3-5 week holiday)
- Shannon Hurn broke fibula (4-6 weeks out)
- Adam Hunter knee injury (out for 6 weeks)
- Mitch Brown knee (season)
- Priddis/LeCras injured (2 more weeks)
- Ash Hansen's body not getting better (will it ever??)
- Their only forward (McKinley) has played a grand total of 5 AFL games
After spending the last three years in WA and having all things West Coast stuffed down your throat...Not a tear shed from me

The second quarter gave me an answer!!!!

Well mate a few injuries and playing bad football with key personel missing. So yeah they might get worse before they get better. I mean port beat them then other week ;)

And I dont see that as a bad thing. And if West coasts only forward is McKinley then im not sure what Kennedy was doing, thought he played forward last night?
All teams have years like this. The Eagles will be shite this year no doubt.

As for having all things West Coast stuffed down down your throat welcome to Adelaide indeed. Hope your a crow supporter.

Agree, but his first decent game for he season
And no I support the Hawks, but have found the Adelaide in your face experience nowhere near the same as the Eagles in Perth..maybe because the Eagles were in Grand Finals

Neil Craig turned down the WCE job prior to being named by the Crows. This tells you that woosher was the 2nd choice and the way the Crows have been highly competative since his entire reign has only been matched by Sydney. Now some other kids are coming through surely the WCE faithful are a tad envious of the Adelaide Crows. I'll give woosher 18 months, I reckon he's in trouble.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

I reckon some of you blokes are just kicking the Eagles whilst there coming down...

They do have some reasonably talented kids.
You take Judd, Cousins & Kerr out of the engine room, what's left???
They will get Kerr back, but it will take them a lot longer to develop replacements for Judd & Cousins- arguably irreplaceable.
The Eagles have used their draft picks wisely over the years- give them time & they'll be flying high again.

As stated in R7 review thread they have the potential to have a great forward line in the future with Kennedy and McKinley, and should start to look towards that future now and let them play without Lynch. Throw in Chad Jones and maybe a McNamara or Ebert floating around the forward line Id be happy an a supporter lokking forward...

But your right I am kicking them while they are down...AND LOVING IT!!!!

Losing your 2 best players is a huge blow no question. But I can't accept that of itself drops a premiership team to the bottom 2. 2 players alone cannot make that much difference IMO. If Bartel and Ablett dropped out of the Cats they would still be a top 8 team surely?

I think the whole team and the organisation are over the dramas of the last few years and the fire is out of the bellies and everyone is sick of reviews and investigations. Someone on radio commented that he thought the team was simply "tired" and it was time to start all over again. Now Woosha can show us if he really is a great coach.

It's amazing how quickly it's all fallen apart Blighty would say that the footy gods are teaching the Eagles and everyone else a lesson.

Wouldn't it be good to see West Coast, Freemantle finish 15 & 16 respectivly.
