Pup, does the WAFL season start today?? I was going to ask if you knew how Palmer went, but i guess the games over there, if they started today, would only be half way through. Do you know which WAFL club he is aligned to?

Started on Thursday night but yeah this is the first round.

He plays for East Fremantle who are getting beaten by Perth as we speak. Palmer was in EFs best 3 or 4 at half time.

Its half time and the margin is 19 points

Has kicked either 2/3 on Glass. The other one was on Graham when Glass was off the ground.

Only saw the second half, but geez it was a bloody ordinary game.

Saints had plenty of opportunities to put Sydney away, but were too crap to do it

Sydney almost stole it in the end, but a shot at goal in the last minute missed.

WCE won by 16 points.

Cox brilliant as were Priddis, Kerr and Braun.

Brown, Black and Lappin all influential for the Lions.

What a terrible game between St Kilda and Sydney, once again FTA lucked out with its televised game.

Adcock injured for Brisbane tonight as well as Rusling today. Rusling faces a possible 4 month stint on the sidelines.

Swannies gonna struggle to get much on the board this year if Barry Hall continues to drop bread and butter marks, as he did tonight and much of last season.

Enjoyed the Collingwood v Freo game, really like the look of Cameron Wood, his palm-work* is a joy to watch ... Also think Dale Thomas is underrated in the main, and Harry O'Brien played a great game.

As expected, plenty of handling and disposal errors in Round 1, but great contests nonetheless.

If you saw the first qtr, St k were fast and free flowing, but it was Sydneys typical boring crap style of play that really killed off the game.

Dennis Cometti called the game on AW and I thought he did a good job. Rex seemed a bit quite, probable due to Clinton...

Watched a bit of footy today on Fox and it seems Fox has earmarked John Casey to take Clinton's spot, Ive always liked John Casey and Im sure he'll agree with me that he's not even close to replacing Clinton. Very sad watching games on Fox and not hearing Clinton, good on Fox for showing their tribute to Clinton again.
Gone but not forgotten Clinton. :(
