yeah so crows have good record against them well basically since the 97 prelim.

from the years 99 to about 2002/3 the dogs beat the crows 5 out of 6 games. (very much based on dodgy memory this post)

Hugh somebody, the red head dud who was a channel 9 sports journo back then, said on the news one night "and Adelaide have beaten the Dogd 5 of the last 6 clashes"

the next day I rang Channel 9, and the person who I was talking too said something like 'Hugh gets very nervous in his live crosses"

I think the next night, Hugh corrected his mistake on air and apolgised for getting it wrong :)

Before you make it a sticky make sure this correction of fact is prominent!
I have started out this year confident the Crows will do a lot better than the Crow-haters predict, as we always do, and I note Nathan Buckley agrees with me in his season predictions in The Age. I do admit though I have reservations about Stevens being named at CHF where I would prefer to see a stronger bodied player. Then I remember Adamson and Ross Dillon at CHF for Norwood, so we'll see how it goes.

Doggies for me as well but only cause of Johnno's 300th, what a legend to the game and the club this guy has been, remember many years ago seeing him dominate an Under 18's grand final on a wing. well done to him, think that this will be enough to motivate the doggies to get over the line

Crows by 5 points at half time, what a great turnaround.

No flooding then, you must be watching a different game or is it because you are hanging to take a swipe at the Crows? Soft effort. Great attacking footy.

Two points:

1) I noticed over on Bigfooty that the crow supporters are dissing Vince's goalkicking. Wtf is going on with his set shots anyway? He slots them from everywhere at training and seems to be alright at SANFL level; is he just wilting under the pressure of AFL when put on the spot?

2) Tippett. Again a sound kick for goal normally, should not have missed that set shot but it is probably the same deal as for Vince; pressure.

Anyway magnificent turnaround in that second term, hopefully it can continue into the third.

FD88.... I'm not sure what's wrong with Bernie's set shots. He is terrible at AFL level and has missed far more than he's kicked. He just needs to put one through to get a bit of confidence I think, same goes for Kurt. Our kicking was ordinary that quarter, Porplyzia missed what he would normally kick and Goodwin on the run was terrible, didn't look like finishing it off.

Bulldogs have missed a few too I guess.

Ill admit I only watched the first quarter but the flood was on. Deny it all you want.

It has been a problem with the Crows side in general in recent years and for mine it really hits home to see a couple of kids previously talked up as decent set shots, come into the Crows side and miss from point blank range. It's a disease!!!

After 1/4 time they blocked the bulldogs run .And then started to attack.
How that wasn't a mark to Tippet I have no idea .

Yeah and all teams do it mate, even Centrals flood. Deny that all you want.

Crows had to stem the tide, they got to quarter time and came out all guns blazing in that second term with attacking footy.
