It not like he's going to go anywhere else. Just a matter of time.

And then he still won't go anywhere because his body is past it [unfortunately I agree]. Damon White for Captain and CHF ??

The manner in which you attempt to link the comment of PAFC to mine, then to our Grand Final loss has more flaws, faults and lack of common sense I thought not even achievable by a West Adelaide fan.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

True, but a slightly differing situation. Was/is there another standout leader in the Cats team? Ablett Jr maybe, but he wasn't ready this season.

VB is an outstanding leader which will make it harder for Rutten.

Harley doesn't usually play FB, that's Matthew Scarlett!
Harley's usually a CHB or when Egans playing there a mobile backman who can take a grab.

I reckon Cam Mooney is a natural born leader, but the "title" captain might weigh on him a bit. Barring Moons I reckon Chappie would be a great skipper, but how can you go past Harls, a Norwood man to boot?

You would have the arrogance to make it all about you Booney...I quoted PAFC1870 but your tripe of a comment came along for the ride, there was no intention to link the two. LMAO you're touchy aren't you?

Harley fell into that job. Just proves that a great captain isn't a necessity to do well.

Come on RW, Bicks may not have been Nathan Buckley but he was a great player in his own right and a great leader

One blemish that ugly incident with Wakelin

Im with you Hondo ... Wasn't the most brilliant player at the club at any stage, but was everything you look for in a captain, a great leader.

I liked Bicks and even Tredders as captains. Both led by example. Notice the past tense. Tredders can't even lead himself out the goalsquare now.
