Interesting/weird pick with the Roos taking Wundke as IMHO hes a one position player who isnt tall enough to play FF in the AFL and isnt quick or mobile enough to play anywhere else.
His brother is more likely to make it in the AFL and thankfully for North is a ruckman.
Still if the Kangaroos knew what they were doing they wouldn't be losing finals by ridiculous margins and wouldnt be a financial basket case.

Yeah totally agree with you Wedgie about Wundke. That's why i was 100% certain Havelberg would never get drafted. Not quite big enough for key forward and not fast enough or big enough engine to play in the midfield or even half forward flank. Would make a great full forward in the SANFL but will be a very struggling mid-sized player in the AFL IMHO.

Some interesting decisions in todays draft.

No Ashley Sampi..

Freo lose Clayton Collard but re rookie Dunn and Mourish.

Richmond get talented Gourdis plus Collard.

WCE continue to rebuild their midfield with McGinnity in the PSD and Arrowsmith in the rookie draft.

Roos pick up live wire forward Garlett who could be very very good.

Howat, Wilkes, Dunn. Mourish, McQualter, Garner, Willits all get another chance at their respective clubs.

Before people get too excited, I think that's only the Rookie Draft- the Pre-Season Draft is yet to occurr...
So Dodgies supporters, you may yet lose Callinan.
