Cough...cough...or the mmmm East ??

Well I was thinking south of the river which runs diagonally. Actually, it is anathema to others but I wouldn't have a problem with a Sturt-Norwood merger.

I would. The Bluelegs? You're kidding me.

Sturt was always my other SANFL team and my wife followed them. There has always been a fair bit of player, and coach, interchange too.

I was looking at it from Port Power's perspective as a way they could increase their supporter base and a way the large northern community of Adelaide could be associated with an AFL club. As booney said, the heritage of both Central and Port are based on much the same thing.

Not suggesting Port move to Elizabeth and Central add teal to their uniform, just an association through having some things in common and an active and deliberate push from Port Power at this area (as well as of course their own area).

I don't think I'd want this if I was a Central fan, but for Port it might be a good idea.

With the huge redevelopment of the Port and surrounding areas going on, the push to get the actual suburb of Port Adelaide up and running again it will be interesting to see if this has any great rise in not only membership but sponsorship as well. Is still a few years away but something to llok at rather to aligning themselves anywhere else

Yes Great Idea Port Power should align themselves with the Powerhouse of this century on the following four conditions

1. play in red, white & blue
2. moved to Elizabeth
3. change their name to Central District
4. change their logo to the bulldog

and then and only then will we support such a thought!
