Cats new logo

Talk on the national game

First one is not great, but acceptable.

Second one looks like maybe they are trying something of a old-style feel given 150 years, Geelong oldest club, etc. Instead reminded me of a cat-burglar or some vagary wearing an old black cloth cap sneaking around dark lanes of London in the 1890's

Hawks marginally better than Cats, but both are very good.

I like the first one - it has just a touch of quirky aggression.

Not a fan of either versions. I like the "cartoon" one the best...bring that back.
They need to make it like a Cougar or Jaguar snarling like attached...

I like the basic design of this one, but...............................
Image
........................the cat needs to look more like one of the big cats. Our domestic moggy looks more agressive than either of the 2 versions of pussy cats used on the logos.

Is this the first time people have noticed that a domestic cat looks very similar (in proportion) to a panther, cougar or other big cat?

Yes, there is not much difference really - I have patted a lion and a jaguar - both young ones and recently fed. Our Siamese can look quite dangerous when hungry, which is often. The only real difference is size.

Gotta be better than the new Melbourne FC logo, if I could work out how to put a picture on here I would. Saw it on Big Footy.

Yeah I know, but "Cats" is the family, I'm sure they can use any "cat" bar the Lion and Tiger.
The domestic cat is very tame, and I think a more aggressive looking cat i.e a Jag would be the go..
