So will Hart and Clarke just be another two ex-crow Neil Craig yes men? Is Craig afraid of hiring recently retired players from elsewhere that might actually have an original idea? or would that threaten his stubborn stick to the plan coaching?

1 Are Matty Primus, Stephen Williams and Adam Kingsley 'yes men' to Chocko?
2 Current Crows assistant coaches are Paul Hamilton, Peter Jonas, David Noble - none are ex-players. A couple of ex-player specialist coaches under that lot leads you to that conclusion?

Port has a history of producing Senior coaches from under Choco (Clarkson & Bailey) because they are not afraid to express themselves and contribute to the decision making. Is there any history of this with the crows? The senior assistants at Crowland seem to quit (Pyke) or be moved sideways (Jonas) when Craig perhaps receives them as either a threat to his position or to his authority.

How the hell are the crows going to survive with out Ben hart as the Cotorie manager or whatever he is? They will have to scour the country to find a replacement surely.

I don't mind Ben Hart coaching....2 time premiership defender and all australian surely knows a thing or two about defence
Matt Clarke on the other hand....what can he teach besides tapping the ball? Marking?

Mick was more part-time, whereas the Crows wanted full-time.
Big Mick was getting a tad tired of the travel, & also wouldn't mind watching his son play next year.

Excellent news! The Cows will get nowhere soon if they keep finding jobs for the boys!

Neil Craig will teach men how to PLAY footy and get fit, but as a coach it's a different thing altogether, now I know why Norwood never won a flag under him, one game plan, players left in positions where they are getting belted and no thinking outside the square!

And I am a Norwood supporter so no bad feelings to him on a personal level!

Dutchy

I find your "Job for the Boys" comment amusing

last year, was Hart one of the boys when he got sacked....

most importantly, have a look at most clubs, the senior coaches put people around them they can trust, often past players or players thay have played with during their careers......

when Primus got the Gig at Port, is that a job for the Boys

when Clarkson gave his old tream mate Viney a gig or his previous player Hardwick a job, is that Job for the Boys

Harvey now has ex Essendon people around him......

Mate, I understand, just another opportunity to take aim at the crows because we have the funds to beef up our footy operations..... maybe we can get a gold coin donation thing happening so the Kanga's can do the same

Yep..to all your questions...

to be honest I would have thought in the current AFC situation they need some different ideas on the coaching panel not players that were there 12 months ago...the smart thing to do would have been to bring some outsiders in to challenge Craig and his game plans that have proved unsuccessful

Mate, Good Points, however, Matty Clarke is recently retired, his knowledge on current ruckman and the art of tap ruck work would be priceless, Matt is a wonderful guy and will work well with the young ruck division at Adelaide

Hart, he is his own bloke and personality, I am confident he will have his own thoughts and opinions and wont be scared in putting them forward

I'm sure you will - the Eagles lead the league in off field hospitality and functions etc IMO (plug there for good ol' Col D - fantastic bloke). It still irks me the way Denis Redden was treated at North and knowing Mick as I do personally, and speaking to him recently about that matter, he still is angry at Jars re Denis leaving Prospect. You can't blame him and 99 percent of North people feel the same.

So is Mick Redden "estranged" from the North Adelaide footy club these days?
