In Torney's case, we now have Symes, Gallman and Douglas who can play that role
The club needs to move forward with it's list....

Will welcome him back with open arms down at Noarlunga if he chooses to take that path.
In other delistings, 2 former SA based players got the chop from StK yesterday. Barry Brooks and Fergus Watts. StK gave up a lot to get them

Gone are Torney, Bode, Perrie, Hinge, Pfeiffer, Meesen, Hudson, Mattner and captain Mark Ricciuto.
The club have already gained four players Symes, Moran, Gallman and Walker.
This gives us five picks in the national draft next month – 10, 27, 30, 38 and 59.
I can't recall the club being any better positioned for a national draft

Last year there was obvious depth in the draft, after about 25 theres not as much in the pot, My question is Torney would for one more year or two may have been better than a 30,39 & 59. Torney is much better than jericho who should buy a lotto ticket.
Ask hudson & Pfieffer what they think of the decision to keep jericho

totally agree with your thoughts on Torney... he has been a very consistent player for the club, however, the club needs to ask the following question...
do we have a younger player capable of playing that role.....
the club can either stick Torney on a HB flanlk for another season, or give Symes, Douglas, Gallman an opportunity to develop their football within an experience defence that will consist of Macca, Rutten, Bassett and maybe Massie......
FFS, everyone Praises Collingwood for playing their younger players, I have been craving for Adelaide to take this path....
Hart was the first tough decision, Torney was next, their will be more next year

Remember this is the club that are so strong could not find a place for Jesse Aish under the father and son rule, Interesting that!!!!, Aish played against Westies this year on all occasions and did damage to us every time. I saw a few years of Luke Jericho first hand and his heart has to be questioned, but then again John Reid and co know BEST
