hondo

agree Port did not choke, however Port's pre-match strategy and match day performance from coaches to players was very very ordinary

I say to fellow crows supporters, have your day in the sun

ask yourself, if the boot was on the other foot, would the power supporters just sit their quietly

Craigy cops a flogging each and every week, however, Williams does not make a change well in to the final term, and nobody raises an eye brow, that he was slow to react in the box

Cetainly agree, no need to brand Port chockers, however I do not have an issue with reminding them how shite house they were

Loosing a GF by 20 goals when you were the 2nd best side is a choke in my book
Lets not forget that they had 10 premiership players in their 22 vs Geelongs one

Blue Boy

have another look at the game, take note of how Port lined up after half time, exactly the same as they did at the first bounce

the first positional change Williams made was putting PB on the ball after half time

the same back 6 played on the same players for the entire first half, Johnson, Chapman and Mooney were towling their opponents

I agree with Carey18

Port's mouths were running hard all week, too bad their players did not run as hard

As a club, if you decide to draw the line in the sand as Port did, FFS you need to be prepared to cop if when you put up a SOFT performance like that

Wasnt half the talk during the week how port were going to run them off there feet and out score them? Then you have players getting run down by the ruckman?. Getting away with it far to easy

not to mention

it was Port's destiny, 130 years of SANFL history will sweep them to the premiership, over a team that has 44 years of losing GF's that they should of won

the quote I love the best

Williams saying that he has picked his spot at the club for the 2007 premiership picture

Lets noit forget Primus targeting King as their weakest link

Right now all of Ports players would take doughnuts if they had the medals, not Geelong

A choke! I suppose Melbourne choked against Essendon in 2000! Being up by 10 goals and losing would be a choke. Being the dominant team all year and losing by 20 goals would be a choke. Getting smashed by the dominant team is not a choke.

How many premiership players did Port have in 2004 compared to Brisbane? It means very little.

If it means little how come willams used it as a talking point during the week and how it was good for his team to have it?

As Chocco said to Bomber after the game, he knew Port were up against it this week and he had to try any little thing to gain some sort of advantage.

Let me guess, a choke under your defintion is when Adelaide lose....When Port lose its because they lost to the better side on the day (like the showdowns this year and whenever you play us in teh finals) .......
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
