Congratulations to Jimmy. Worthy winner, seems a pretty shy and humble sort of bloke.

Great win Jimmy - 7 votes clear worthy winner and very humble man by the looks

Watching the Cats poll so well last night tipped me back to thinking the Cats will win Saturday

Who would have though that G Ablett would poll only 2 more votes than Scott Thompson?

And how about Judd - geez that guy looks like he only needs to be fit for a whole season and he will win another one

And I am sure Daniel Kerr will win a Brownlow before he retires - consistent high vote getter

But all congrats to Jimmy Bartel =D> =D>
In between signatures .....

Did anyone else notice during the opening visual introduction where there was footage of past medalists and then everyone of them from '96 onwards except 2005?
Just one of those things I'm sure.

I thought the Dennis Commetti calls were good.
I could sit through hours of them, i never hear them when they happen.
"If he was any more inside, he would be a pancreas."
What was with the frequent shots of cameron ling?
It just kept reverting back to him.
Bartel with 29 votes won, Brett Kirk had a drink for every vote.
Did he end up passing out after round 18??

Call me an old fuddy duddy if you must but I prefered it when Commetti called the game instead of trying to contribute to his own celebrity. For one horrible moment last night I thought he was going to do a stand up comedy routine. The camera was on Lingy and Bartel so much so that Port can be reminded about what they are going to get this Saturday that they didn't last time we met.

Without wishing to trump the great man (i.e. Spelly) I'd suggest that Scott Wynd, the 1992 medallist might have him covered.

Not sure how the Didak reference is relevant, but I'm sure Tredrea & Cornes as well as being football champions, are humble people also, with no hint of arrogance....
