Best thing about this is that the Failures have had no pressure put on them whatsoever, wow good lead up to the G/F Geelong will do exactly the same to the failures as they have done to the shinboners today

Collingwood v Port was far worse in 2003. Trust me - I was there :( :( :(

Great win by the Power, with the Kangaroos performances 2 weeks ago and this week I have no idea how the beat Hawthorn.
Its going to be interesting working in town this week wearing my Geelong scarf proudly! :D

Holy shite...geez the Power looked good, but I think the opposition wasn't anywhere
near what Geelong had last night, wasn't within cooee...
IMO Geelongs game last night would be better preparation for a team heading into a GF.

What a p***weak game of footy. Watched from timeon of first quarter onwards. No physical intesnity by either team. Port didn't play that well, just no competition. In first half, Port made lots of mistakes in midfield, but there was no pressure from Kanagroos to force turnover.

Stand by what I said - only four qualirt teams in finals this year - Geelong, West Coast, Adelaide and Collingwood. Top four, apart from Geelong, not a shade of what they have been the last few years.

Nope hate the Afl, have never been to see a game live since it has been national and never will, totally full of big headed persons from top to bottom, great advertisement for young kids these days pigs , unless of course you want them to be (will leave it at that).

I have a 7 yr old son that used to idolise Ben Cousins, I now have to try and convince my son to go back and play footy cause in his words, he doesn't want to end up like him. Thats where the AFL is going. I hate the AFL, bring on SANFL anyday

Will say well done to Troy Chaplin though. Seems to have had a good second half of season, when perhaps his future was on the line

You have claimed Port won without competition, that is because we did not allow them to play any where near their best, then to suggest Chaplin may have had his 'future on the line' is downright ignorant and offensive to any one who has watched Port play at all this year.

Ahem....

I'd hardly put us in the elite bracket, nothing agaisnt you FH and this is to a degree a generalisation but perhaps that is our problem. Too many supporters of Adelaide and maybe even some people at the club think that they are actually better than what we actually are.

That over-inflated opinion means that too often at crucial times we are not prepared to the little extra things that make good teams great (i.e consistantly in the top 4).
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Booney, didn't mean he had his future on the line today - meant this season was the time for to develop, and he seems to have done that.

It just irks me (especially haveing just moved back to Adel) to hear how much people rate us, when really we don't deserve it...

Im not sure what happened to the roos. Not a good fairwell to Archer, he did his best to put some physical pressure on the power but hes a player from a different era. I thought it was good form that the adelaide crowd gave him a decent applause when he walked of. well done for that and the power showing some class there.

As for the game, well the roos have lost 2/3 by plenty. Not really sure how to call that one. Im sure dutchy will give a good run down about that. Tonight I thought Chaplin was good for Port. Quite solid back there and provided some good run. Also I should note that the kangas did look a little slow, there were some good patches when they ran well and looked good. but to me they looked to lack a bit of leg speed.

As for this being a prep for the big one, I think that Geelong has had the better prep.

Anyway thats enough babble from me. Over to you dutchy
