Two weeks ago North was going to win in an upset. Now it's Collingwood's turn to win in an upset. They call it an upset for a reason....because it is an unlikely result. I would certainly be upset if Collingwood won.

Talk about subconsciously preparing for defeat. Fancy trotting out that line at Preliminary Final time!

RIP Len.

Not bagging the Collingwood champ but he couldn't help them win one when he was alive so I can't see how he's going to do it now. No, the movitation must come from WITHIN.

Cats easily

Pies played their GF last week, and West Coast form is mis-guiding

I look at it this way Geelong have form and a weeks break on their side. Collingwood has played 9 quarters of solid football over the past two weeks. Poor form last year and two near misses in the finals burns strong for the cats. Fate is a fickle thing and fate in the VFL/AFL has never been with the cats all that often but this year Fate seems to be on the cats side we will know more come the final siren. On Geelong they can turn it on for a 10 minute burst and blow a side apart, and ruffing up big cam will not work on Friday night he wants another premiership like most of the Cats players they want to add an AFL premiership to their VFL one.

Will be a great experience for the winner to play in front of a similar crowd to that which will be there on GF day

Geelong have dominated all year- of course they have the weight of expectation on their shoulders.
I imagine should Geelong lose, the Reg Hickey stand will be burnt to the ground by an angry mob of Cat fans (prior to their suicide)...

The cats should win they have played excellent football all year and they have defeated the pies once this year. I feel that both sides will give it their all but 9 quarters of football in the past two weeks will hurt the carringbush.

Game completely sold out in 90 mins this morning, should be an unbelievable atmosphere, will be a better atmosphere than the Grand Final because there will be more geniune supporters of the clubs involved.

Collingwood are not a corporate entity???? That's the funniest thing I have ever heard :D

How many clubs run a travel business and a function/conference centre and at own least 2 hotels (per their 2006 annual report)

Collingwood are as 'corporate' as they come - and, to me, that's not a criticism BTW

To be technical about, every AFL team is a corporate entity BTW - Collingwood's official name is the Collingwood Football Club Limited
In between signatures .....

Yep Geelong have dominated all year, but try telling that to the 'upset' crowd (quite possibly formerly of the 'out in straight sets crowd' as well). As for the Hickey stand, how are going to burn the thing down after we've killed ourselves?
