That is a good crowd actually!

I was only stirring Dutchy anyway - I think the Crows / Power rivalry is truly still alive and well

No worries, its very intense, no doubt about that.

I live it every weekend .... Mrs Hondo goes for the Power

Hardly watches any footy but somehow turns passionate when the Crows play - she hates them. I get sin binned if I get 'smug' after the Power lose. Fun & games :D

How boring would it be if we all followed both sides?

Guess these people follow all SANFL clubs as they are based in SA?

Que?? its always a good weekend when the Power lose.....

A perfect weekend is bays winning, Crows winning, Port Adelaide losing and Port Power losing....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

For the anti-Vics, a Port v West Coast grand final is all that can be hoped for. Achievable but unlikely, although I fancy the Coasters against Geelong for some funny reason.

Aww C'mon mate not even a little bit of a warm fuzzy feeling towards the crows??? (to be honest I don't mind the Bays posse at the Power (Chocco, the Cornes boys, Mahoney Salopek and Boak and hope they do well individually) - but hope the power loses)

It annoys me that the Crows are even in the comp, so theres no way in hell Im hoping for anything less than a 15 goal win to the Hawks this week.

I dont see how anyone can go for both the Crows and the Power. Because they are South Australian? Who cares! Do people in Victoria go for all ten teams? No! Do Queensland Reds supporters hope than the NSW Warratahs win just because they are also from Australia? Do McLaren supporters go for Williams just because both teams are British? Do you think Freo supporters will be going for WC in the finals?

The us Port Power vrs the rest Adelaide Crows is purely a fantasy created from the old SANFL days
The people who want to carry on that intense rivalry are entitled to
I view AC+PP as 2 new entities in a national competition
When I barrack for AC I dont view it as a composite team of NW/GL/ST etc
When I barrack for PP I dont view them as the old PA magpies
The SANFL + the AFL are 2 different competitions

This mentality that PA + PP are the same team is not in my eyes
otherwise there would be an interchange of players from PA maggies to Port Power

If more people took my viewpoint then more people would roll up to watch PP games ?
My primary school daughter supPORTs AC because her mother has her brainwashed
and why ?
because mum hates PA in the SANFL
Until this mentality of us vrs them subsides then the PP supPORTer base will always
languish behind the AC base.
PP need to concentrate on a new generation of supPORTers who are divorced from the old SANFL days

Thats why I supPORT both teams because they are both representing my state in a national comp.

But it's a club based competition Mal, not a state based competition.

Would you support both North and Centrals if you lived North of Adelaide?

I find your logic unusual, but if it floats your boat, good luck to you!
