Depends what narrative you go for. JJ even said he's happy to go back and play out for the Crows if a deal cannot be done.

Crows clearly don't want him there and IMO it is more to do with off field stuff than on field.

I would highly doubt JJ would be happy to play at the Crows. "Happy".

Smacks of someone who has attracted little to no interest from clubs so is publicly floating it now.

I agree.

Having said that, if Daniher gets to Sydney as the industry believes he will then there's a home right there for Jenkins.

Crows cheersquad to convene at the airport with a poor rendition of "Naa na na na-na-na-naaa".

Upgrade on McKernan and Brown.
Would take him for 2 years on the cheap as a stop gap until we can chase a decent KPF via the trade period

If Crows don't want him there then they will need to delist him and pay him out for his final 2 years and work on a reduced salary cap, no way they could keep him around the place for another 2 years, even if not playing AFL.

You're not going to delist him and pay him full value on 2 years of a contract. The only way that happens is with a negotiated buy out or he sits on the list as insurance for injuries.

Didn’t Kornes have a similar issue then ended up staying at Port and winning a B&F?

Keath officially announced he wants to be traded to the Bulldogs

Hearing a 4 year deal on plenty of $$$$$

What’s a fair trade?

He's 27, Dogs have pick 30. That would seem around the mark.

Sometimes you've gotta go backwards to go forwards.

They're 7 or 8 years off any chance of the ultimate goal now I'd say.
