3 year deal for Matt Crouch. Good result for the club as he will take over from Thompson in 2017 IMO. Certainly has a lot of potential and if we can get his brother fit it will be good to see the Crouch brothers feeding each other over the next few years.

You actually listen or believe the idiots on Adelaide radio? If they're not turning on the players that have left (Jars) they are still crying over them (Rowey). I've gotten so sick of both MMM and AA that I listen to SEN now.

I can handle Bicks.

Is better or has the potential to be?

The latter can at least be argued, though it is way too early to tell given he hasn't been on the park for 2 years

What are peoples thoughts on the draft strategy for the Crows this year? Take the best available talent? Target SA lads? Target certain positions?

yep agree. take the best talent. ball using midfielders are still what we need. maybe another key back wouldnt go astray either.

Depending on who/what is available, Crows need to bolster their midfield and set it up for the future .. Think they've had a pretty good trade period, just need to get the drafting right.

Need a key post defender to help out Talia and Lever in 3-4 years time. Also need to look at a strong key forward that is a project in my opinion. Tex 25 and if you need to have a bloke who will take at least 3 years to develop or come in if Tex's knee shits itself again. Mids we are fine imho.

I was hoping the Crows would of traded for one the last two weeks. One more key back would be handy.

Target home grown lads would be my recommendation or look at players that have been to boarding school or spent their younger years moving about, it's only natural for players to end up wanting to finish up in their home town.

I think this is a good point as well, although the Crows would probably want to gain the best possible talent that's available to climb the ladder, and that's not necessarily coming out of Adelaide these days.

Without recruiting an out an out star to replace Dangerfield the club did a great job IMO, identified a weakness of speed and outside run and recruited to strengthen that.

Seedsman and Hampton will work great next year with Smith across half back/wing.

I think Menzel can develop his tank over time and push up the ground and can form a formidable forward line alongside Charlie and Eddie, all 3 rotating through the middle/playing that high forward role in the future is exciting.

As a Sturt supporter I was a huge fan of Gore, has played against men since he was 17 and can force his way into the team next year IMO, from all reports he would have played a few games for Geelong if he didn’t get injured last year in the VFL.

I think we will take the best talent available in the draft but will look for a quick midfielder and possibly a key position or ruckman.
The club have big wraps on Harry Dear and Mitch McGovern who are 19 and raw and both over 190 odd cm. Expecting to hear their names over the next couple of seasons.

Ramsey as well - I reckon we have enough young key position forwards, I think we should go for the best midfield talent available

So who else gets delisted? Went through the list and the only player I thought of was Jaensch (then rookie him while getting over his injury)

Do they need to make any more list changes or do they have enough through retirements/trades?
