Walker aint far behind, even as a Norwood supporter i find him soft.
Cant believe the Crows are going to make him one of the highest paid players at the club

I think he's better than Tippet & Tippets the highest paid Crow.

Plenty of potential but wonder if he deserves a fair bit more than others. If they were paying players on importance to team then Johncock should be the highest paid, absolute star.
Think they had to pay plenty to keep Tippett from Suns

Yes Johncocks the best along with Thompson but Tippets over-rated to be honest.

Tippett would be ok if someone taught him to kick, his set shots are average at best. Too many times ive seen him miss from 15m out, not acceptable

Tippet could be a very good ruckman if given more time on the ball.
Maybe that was one of Craigs downfalls!

Agreed!
And relying on a "star" full forward to kick most of your goals and always kicking to him is a mugs game, unless you have a reliably dominant midfield.
It is no surprise Port at their height in their dominant SANFL days always had a successful full forward.
All they needed was someone who could lead, mark, and kick straight, to deliver it to..

Mind you, I think Rex Johns might have succeeded with any team.
There was real talent - he got the ball out of packs for himself even when Port did (rarely) struggle.]
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!

Yep, Tippett is overrated by his team mates. This dysfunctional midfield, one of the worst in the league if not THE worst thinks that if they kick the ball over his head while he is being triple teamed that Tippett will be able to mark it. The only forward who could clunk a mark with the delivery that Tippett gets that I can think of is Tony Lockett. Dunstall, Ablett, Lloyd no chance.

Whodathunkit?

Is that all, it sounds sooooo easy Psyber.
You'd know though wouldn't you.
Obviously don't like full forwards, is that because of the 96 prelim you havn't got over?

Ahh, was it a free kick to the great man or not? Nonetheless, he still slotted a nice goal.

Definately not a free but the umps paid it and unfortunately it went to the only guy on the ground capable of kicking it.
End of they day we wernt good enough.
Funny thing is i never saw the goal, as soon as the free was paid and i saw who was taking it i headed for the exit. Knew he wouldnt miss so it was no surprise i heard the crowd roar

You missed a great bit of footy history then!

It was an obvious free kick, straight into his back and landed on his head on the ground.
I'm gonna break my rusty cage and run

Tippett IMO is not over rated at all. The crows are simply that crap and play such a slow boring style at present that he never gets good delivery, always on top of his head and always playing against 3 opponents. He bloody works hard for someone who cops that all the time IMO.

Although hitchcock played well in the showdown, the bloke is still one of, if not the softest player in the comp

Agreed CK. Poor bloke just needs a decent midfield and he'd have a much better goal tally.

Not until someone teaches him to kick. All the fantastic delivery in the world wont stop him missing from the goal square.
