Who Cares, Vlad didnt inject the players, neither did Evans for that matter.
Evans is quite right to put his faith in the football dept to be above board.
Hird is still the biggest fish here, he is in charge.
If a horse trainer (coach) has one of his/her horses (players) injected with illegal substances they are the ones that are suspended, no ifs or buts.

Im thinking Hird realises he will never coach again and its him thats leaking the info to the papers. Probably wants to bring a few down with him when he goes.
I think all this studying is acknowledgement that he wont be coming back

Fined $20k today for allowing unlisted players to train with the club leading up to draft day.
Because we co-operated with the AFL they have suspended half the fine so the club will be $10k lighter

yep anyone who didnt think there were deals going on behind the scenes were very naive.

The fat greek is just as corrupt as the IOC and FIFA presidents.

Yeah nothing new here. Vlad needs to 'please explain' then resign.

no, he needs to be sacked- not allowed to resign, and then become CEO of Tennis Australia...

The AFL were going to fine the Bombers $50k but because Essendon were going to push the lawyer button the AFL gave them another discount. Respect, credibility gone.

It will end when ASADA finally give their final verdict, until then there will be plenty of mud thrown by both parties. I hope until then we stand up and take some people down with us, starting with Vlad

Made hundreds of stupid decisions, ignored a highly respected doctors concerns. Take the consequences and get on with it.

The longer you "stand up" the more you look like sulking private school boys. Oh, hang on....

They will accept the consequences when ASADA hand down their verdict. Until then we have every right to fight with Vlad, it was never written into the terms that Hird wouldnt be paid so 3 months later they cant turn around and demand the club stop paying him. The AFL have made plenty of mistakes too, as soon as they admit it aswell the better.
