Yes it's a good career. I don't think he was an elite player though.

Hey come on, enough is enough, first John Klug gets a mention and now you're dishing big Romano?

I was a full on Woodville supporter and watched them become competitive thanks to these two along with a great crop.

I went in their changerooms after each game as a kid and chatted with them, great bunch.

From my understanding Lever is genuinely torn with his decision, and is taking his time in making the correct one, as it will have a large impact on the next phase of his life, more than understandable. I hope he stays, but if he goes, then life will go on. We couldnt recover from losing Dangerfield either apparently... McGovern on the other hand, would be mad to turn down the reported figures to go home, absolutely mad..

Charlie Cameron - well if he wants to go to a mediocre side, in a debacle of a footballing state, to play in front of 12,000 people each week, most who dont give a sh!t about the game, then so be it

Listening to his interview last night i agree, i don't think Jake generally has made a decision yet. Obviously a huge decision for a 21 year old, he has his friends (players) here in Adelaide telling him to stay and by the sounds of it his family saying come home. He comes across as a mature and intelligent young man and that's why he keeps saying he won't be rushed into a decision, still processing all the offers and advice he is receiving.

I think his family situation would have to be pretty dire for Charlie to leave this year and the trade would have to be very good for the Crows to consider! Charlie is also from Mt Isa which is a about as close to Brisbane as Adelaide is! Cash might talk at the end of next year though when he is out of contract.

Mitch surely signs on for another 2 years. Besides money there is no other reason you would want to play at the Eagles (who will bottom out next year) and Freo who are still 3 odd years away from the top 8. Cash in and go home in another 3 years Mitch!

If we lost 2 or 3 it would be disastrous, but we would have cash and about 5 picks in say the top 30 to try and lure some talent across...

The list management staff haven't done much wrong over the past few years IMO so i am willing to wait and reserve judgment until after the trade period!

I think Mcgovern will stay also.

After the year Hogan has had & the fact he is "house hunting" in the Perth market currently I think he will defiantly head home come seasons end.

This is the to the Crows advantage as I think both WA team will throw the kitchen sink at Hogan come trade time & MM will become the forgotten man for the time being & stay a Crow because of this.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Such a pity the crows never picked up Kevin Harris.

Yeah, was probably at the arse end of his career, I remember watching the Magarey when I thought he had a chance, him and Blighty would be sitting at their table having a durry and a beer.

I no he has won a yellow jacket but has Richie Douglas had a better season than this year. He IMO has almost been our best player for the year his work rate is amazing he doesn't miss to many targets he has kicked some goals in big games,he plays just about everywhere on the ground and doesn't really have a set position, he is dangerous when forward sweeps up down back when his there and when he goes in through the midfield seems to be winning His fair share of the pill.

I love the way he goes about his footy. Very little fan fare just gets it done. Tex, Eddie, Sauce and Slone get all the accolades but Douglas just goes about his work, but in terms of the yellow jacket this year would have at least half a dozen in front of him.

Probably a bit past in by 1991, but was a key to Woodville's resurgence in 1986 and played it pretty tough with plenty of skill as well IIRC. Would've been suited to the boggy suburban Victorian grounds if he'd gone over, a bit like McIntosh.

I remember not long after he arrived at the Crows Bone said he was going to be a 300 game player for the Crows and I laughed just thinking he was talking him up being at Glenelg and didn't think he would last long. Since he's become one of my favourite players as Carey said no fuss just goes about his business and gets the job done more often that not.

Had a down year last year too. I thought he was cooked but has proven me wrong. Reckon tex sauce and Sloane would be our top 3 at the moment for B&F but Douglas shouldn't be far behind.

I expect him to poll well in the Brownlow. He's in a side that wins plenty of games and always under the umpires nose. Could surprise a few with his polling like Priddis in 2014.

Probably doesn't have enough games where he is clearly best on. But may get a lot of 2 and 1 votes
