That would be exceptional news but the way Rowey is talking its like someone has died and the fact that he sees it bigger than Tippet-gate doesnt leave a positve note to it.

Sounds negative, and circled around an individual.

Sando sacked? Danger told to walk?

I hinted at that a few pages ago (and was shut down with a 'he only wants to go to Melbourne' but I was also informed that it was the Betts deal which had meant the Crows will most likely not be able to meet the 850k asking price. Apparently both SA teams have known of the Cameron availability for some time now but the Crows felt Betts was a better fit to help with the immediate premiership assault (they believed they were 1-2 years away) Which is why I have been harping on about the arrogance of trigg and co.

Port Power front runners is the mail I have and that has come from someone involved within the Crows.

My understanding is while he is from Melbourne he actually has more family based in SA and that is a why a move to SA is more desirable.

If Port don't get the deal done I would think he will end up at one of the bigger Victorian clubs like Collingwood or Hawthorn.

Isn't he from somewhere near the SA/Vic border? Probably played the odd junior game in SA in the Western Border League....

This would be enough to turn most off their chardonnay.

Somethings up with him and has been all year in my opinion. He is 25 now is he worth moving on for a power forward who will play another 10 years?

I agree. Midfielders grow on trees power forwards don't.

At my workplace they seem to think the rumour is that Sando's gone.

I agree - he doesnt seem all that keen on hanging around past his current contract, if thats the case would be great if he was to tell the Crows this before trade period but I think that he will wait until he has more power with restricted free agency. I am OK with free agency but not the restricted one after 8 years - Dangerfield in particular has really actually on been fully in the system for 6 years now and hopefully he remembers that the Crows looked after him in his first year and he at least repays them somehow - if he wants to go home then so be it, just would like to see us be able to get something for him as this has been lacking over the Tippet, Davis, Bock and Gunston deals.

Probably just made up on the request of the corporation.

Wouldn't be happy with all the 'great publicity' the scum from Port are receiving at the moment.

Better to be talked about than ignored.

If Dangerfield is gone I cant wait to hear all the Crows supporters to start telling us how they have always thought he

-burns the ball
-tries to take to many players on
-always gets injured

wouldn't surprise me the crows do believe they have a top 4 side.

I think sanderson has done a par job with a very average squad and the drama and issues he was placed under.

Its not just us that does that to be fair - each time a player leaves a club they turn! But I agree we seem to be pretty bad for it. I personally think that his best is yet to come and would hate him not to stay but seriously think he will go. To be honest, if we could keep only two of Walker, Sloane and Dangerfield - I would keep Walker and Sloane any day of the week - Walker is a talent that you cant replace and Sloane works harder than anyone else in that team - Dangerfield I think we could replace if we had to - but the other two are harder.
