Grundy wanted to stay but his management didn't want him to take a pay cut....for obvious reasons.

Not surprised. The club has been fibbing about the extent of Draper’s injury and Goldy will end up playing the majority of the season. With Draper sidelined we really only have Bryan (who I do think will be very good) and he is too young and inexperienced to do the job on his own.
