Crows have a beauty in Max M.
Someone in the media compared him to Ben Hart.
The only thing you can't quantify when drafting talent is how tough they are when coming up against hardened footballers.
Seems he's got that in spades.

They don’t need them if coached properly.
What’s that line about being given the keys to a Ferrari?

We don't need another 18 year old, we need the ones there better prepared.

I see there is more footage of JHF not chasing. When is it just a young player vs a problem he needs to fix?

When did age become a factor if you chased or not?

Agreed. Just going off some media comments on what to expect from a 19 year old

JHF
What Im seeing is a very courageous footballer with excellent disposal and a very good football brain
Thats good enough for a 19 year at this stage of his career

Picks and chooses when to go.
You have no choice but to go every time at this level.
Only young so still time, but you'd want to see him improve rapidly on yesterday's effort.

Was in their best yesterday and was BOG in the first game,

If he improves rapidly on that he will win the Brownlow in a cakewalk.

JHF isn’t their problem

For a side that got smashed in contested possessions for the 2nd week in a row he led the way with 10 and had 7 tackles

He’s got too many mates that are happy to get the paycheck without the effort.

Add to that got half back flankers that run around with Disposal efficiencies %ages in the 60s they are an opposition’s “scores from turnover” dream

As others have said there was a couple of important times when he was walking rather than gut running to affect a contest down field.
He's a gun no doubt but he's going to have to carry ports midfield for a long time.
