Gil reckons it was a sellout.
Apparently the ground holds 25k but was reconfigured today to hold 12k and those areas empty today were off limits to fans. Next year he is pushing to increase the capacity

surely after it sells out they would try and open up some more areas?

answer seems weird to me

Every second seat at the ends must have been off limits
Propaganda at its best - my eyes don't lie
The were some sections with Port supporters crammed like sardines but most of the others were only 1/2 full and others 1/3

I hear the GC players were only sent economy other than Ablett who paid for himself but maybe the front was crammed with admin and politicians
That is actually dangerous for some of them

Here are two of the biggest leeches

I cant believe people are wanking on about the size of the crowd. Your totally missing the point of what this venture was about for Port Adelaide, Its already made the venture worth while via one sponsor at $1m a year for 3 years and I'm sure there are more to come but if worrying about the size of the crowd makes you blokes happy please go ahead......

I say 'Well done Kochie and Port Adelaide, well done'.

I'm a little surprised by the responses, as I was thinking it would be Hawthorn are more a chance than Sydney.

I agree, but dispense with the propaganda. "Sell out" my ar$e
And filling one area chock a block full of PP supporters for the cameras to scan to when there were large areas with ratios of 1:3 - 1:4 is a scam
But you'll be right. With Weatherill and Rucci; you have the biggest spruikers in the business on your side.

At least you're World Champions now ^:)^

Can't remember what the stat was, but think they said yesterday that Gold Coast had never got 10k to Metricon for a Port game... that's already a win there.

Is Nic Newman eligible for a rising star nomination? Not a bad late change, 35 disposals!

And it looks like Parker and Hannebery is finding some form too...

Rohan and Tippett both kicked 4 in the reserves so it will be interesting if they come back in this week

You could kick 4 in the NEAFL. Worse standard than SANFL Reserves.
Still think the Swans will play finals though.
AFAIK Newman is way too old for the RS

If you tinker with it long enough I'm sure you'll work your way up to minor premiers.
