Unfortunately I don't think we have another win in us and Freo should pinch 1 or 2 wins

yeah agree. and may got a month? so i think it will be at least 6 weeks. even if it was 10 weeks it would be fine by me.

kind of reminded me of the bickley/wakelin incident except it was to the back of his head

Like Bickley and Wakelin?

=)) That's like saying it was kind of like the Kennedy assassination, or the mass execution of Jews by Hitler. Laughable!

Worse than May's? Doubt that. Wasn't a good look no doubt but spare of the moment incident, Day had far more time to make the decision. Gets a month that's about a right fit for mine.

That will be a must watch game, Dont think Essendon can afford Freo to get 2 games ahead of them. Worsfold is an expert at tanking from WCE days and Lyon seems to have picked up the caper pretty well in a very short space of time. Barlow might even be in the ressies until after this game. Tipsters nightmare, i reckon the apprentice will get the job done and Essendon will win

It will give us a guide as to whether they really are tanking or not. If they can't get over us in Perth they should get the book thrown at them

Stefan Martin had a split second to brace as he knew it was coming, Gaff had no idea an elbow was going to slam into the back of his head/neck.

No comparison to the Bickley incident IMO

Didn't stop....... Not sure they even started!
Players look confused when going forward.
No systems, lack of confidence, too many passengers.....
Anyone hear the tripe that Keith Thomas rolled out after the game?
No such thing as an honourable loss, Keith!!

He made a bad choice, a really bad choice. He nailed him from behind and that hasn't been part of the game for 100 years. May's 15 years ago makes a footy biffs and brawls dvd. At least he hit Martin up the middle, even though he went past the footy. Nailing a bloke in the back of the head without making a legitimate attempt to attack the footy at pace is one of the worst things you can do on a footy field.

By the way I'm not saying it was his full intention, but you gotta be accountable if you do it.

5 weeks.

Exactly like thug Bickley. Dumb as **** decision. Bickley and Riccuito were exactly the same.

Lets call him dumb as **** Jonas to go with dumb as **** Port.

What's the problem at Port?
They are shithouse.

Sorry that all was probably a bit harsh. Look Port people, we cant win a chook raffle awat from hime and yet got up over you on your deck. Says alot unfortunately.

Whilst I agree Port is crap, the Eagles have won a game in Adelaide the last 2 years, their lack of form interstate is exaggerated given who they had to play in their interstate games this year.

I've met Tom Jonas and he seems like a nice level headed guy, however that was a serious white line brain fade and he needs to cop a real whack which I'm sure he will. Elbowing someone in the back of the head is a dangerous and weak thing to do on the street and on a football field. I was relieved to see Gaff moving afterwards as it could've been far worse.
