Deledio would have been a super pick up IMHO. Surely couldn't have been Geelong's decision to turn down a trade for Caddy.

I really don't understand whats going on with this either. I didn't really think swapping Lids for Caddy was a good deal for us but swapping him for f%$k all is just embarrassing

I reckon Aaron Black was a good get for the Cats, type of stay at home forward that will really help Hawkins

Yeah, he might help if he stays at home and doesn't come to the game

Losing Smedts will hurt (your VFL side).....

He reminds me of Andrew Eccles who went from Adelaide to Carlton.... real ordinary.

Am I missing something with this bloke - from what I've seen he's not that good??

Think he was just a throw-in, wanted the first rounder which ended up at GWS for Marchbank & Pickett

We've had a ton of these blokes over the last decade though. Time to move on.

Grab pick 186 and just pick up some horse manure rather than be the club that gives a last hope to some of these also rans.

The GWS blokes, fair enough, they were pick <10 two years ago, but Smedts, seriously?

We need to take this convo to the Carlton board, if we can afford one.
