thay dont wanna play for ratten i dont know why but i have been saying this for years....

yeh, they threw the semi final last year. what a load of bollocks.

mate with the side they have they should not be serving up crap like they are something is wrong what game are you watching....

I'm no doubt watching the same game. What brand of crystal ball are you using to know that they're not playing for the coach though? No doubt they're not playing well but it's a long bow to draw to say that anyone doesnt play for a coach.

Murph was a big loss today.

Had no idea how big a loss carrazzo would be though.....an important link in your midfield chain.

Massive. Comments at the Collingwood game were that he was in career best form. He does a great run with role that allows the Ellards and Joseph's to take the second midfielder. Without him, and Joseph out of form we have to have Ellard as our No.1 tagger.

you've just contradicted yourself. You obviously do have a crystal ball cos you can't just say 'they're not playing for the coach'. Sometimes it's called 'form' and at the moment we have no confidence and little form.

Not really but it means VB gets frred up and we lose one of our best players. In the scheme of things his injury mattered little. Long term we are in a world of pain.

That is more what i was eluding to, hence the carrazzo reference. Your midfield without these 2 is in a world of trouble...

not sure how i controdicted myself by saying they are playing with no heart and the coach is the scapegoat as i see it they are not playing for him m8 so instead of the players copping it as they should ratten will....yes form as you say is spot on we have no confidence why?? look at the crows last year same playing group with craig they played like us today then change of coach and bang look at them they are flying and body language is completlely different from last year...i just think there is more to this than just form but im happy to be proved wrong....

What is Carlton supporters throughts on B Gibbs?

Looks to have stagnated in his development a little to me? Will he be able to stand out no Murph is gone or not?
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Listened to SEN this morning, Carlton are getting an absolute barrage of abuse in Melbourne.
About an hour of angry callers with the Kangas not far behind in copping a spray.
Most of the heat seems to be aimed at Jordan Russell, is he really that bad or just a scapegoat?
Robert Walls was scathing on Kreuzer and Gibbs

Russell was a first round pick in the 04 draft, admittedly that draft stunk it up big time but that is no excuse for his terrible decision making and lack of awareness. He showed some good signs last year but I would not be surprised to see him dropped this week. Trade bait potentially, won't get much in return though.

Gibbs is a very outside player, outside players need to get the ball more than he does. He has good skills but doesn't get it enough.

Kruzer needs a role, is he a ruckman or is he a forward. They are playing him 50/50 and it doesn't look like he knows what to do. He is very athletic and could become a Cox like ruckman good around the ground but who knows.

We really missed Waite yesterday. We had absolutely no forward structure, you can not rely on Eddie and Garlett to kick you a winning score. Can we please have Josh Kennedy back WC?

Also not to sure what Armfield, Curnow and Bower are doing.

Russell was one of the better running defenders in 2010. Don't know what's happened to him.

The Blues fwd line was also dysfunctional against St Kilda too, with Waite.

Thought Bower tried to run and carry, along with Scotland. Was far from their worst.

Where's Duigan at this year? I gather he started a little behind the 8-ball in terms of fitness, but some of the Carlton Forums have been pretty scathing toward him.

Henderson looked pretty good yesterday, does he stay up forward now?

If Warnock comes back in do they play the 3 talls, or does Kreuzer or Hampson get a run in the VFL?

I said it at the start of the year, is Kreuzer the most over rated big man in the game at present? shows so much promise but is yet to deliver consistently at all
