PSD picks go straight onto the main list (usually, but not always, a recycled player who didn't nominate for the National Draft), while the Rookie picks (naturally) make up the clubs' rookie lists. The amount of picks a club has in the Rookie Draft depends on how many Rookie spots they have left on their list.

I know Richmond will take a young player with their PSD pick and not waste their time with a mature-ager. Good luck to Port with Cameron (and David) Cloke though

Would Port really pick up Cloke as a mature-age rookie and leave him sitting on the rookie list until somebody gets a long-term injury? Surely if they are going to pick him it's because the brains trust think he's a ready-made AFL player and he can slot straight into the 22?

I'd be very surprised if Mitch Thorpe didn't end up on a list... He's still only 20/21 and was a number 6 pick, with huge wraps!
