All those blokes are taller then Maguire!

A lot of decent Johnnie Walker Red Label there, but not much Black Label or above.

Realise that but no need to add some scrubber from this draft though. A young group that has a few years of development ahead of them.

Seven clubs will participate in the pre-season draft: Melbourne, Richmond, Fremantle, Sydney, West Coast, Port Adelaide and Essendon

Melbourne has committed their pick to ex-Lion Joel McDonald; Fremantle to ex-Bomber and former Docker Adam McPhee, while Sydney will take Daniel Bradshaw with their pick.

PSD and Rookie Draft are on the same day mate, with PSD going first. PSD picks go straight onto the main list (usually, but not always, a recycled player who didn't nominate for the National Draft), while the Rookie picks (naturally) make up the clubs' rookie lists. The amount of picks a club has in the Rookie Draft depends on how many Rookie spots they have left on their list.

I know Richmond will take a young player with their PSD pick and not waste their time with a mature-ager. Good luck to Port with Cameron (and David) Cloke though

All players in the PSD go straight onto the main list.

Port are still a good chance to pick up Panos with their PSD pick and leave Cloke to be a mature age rookie.

The '(usually, but not always....' comment was referring to the rest of my sentence mate, about not always being a recycled player that is taken.

No problems at all.

Would Port really pick up Cloke as a mature-age rookie and leave him sitting on the rookie list until somebody gets a long-term injury? Surely if they are going to pick him it's because the brains trust think he's a ready-made AFL player and he can slot straight into the 22?

I'd be very surprised if Mitch Thorpe didn't end up on a list... He's still only 20/21 and was a number 6 pick, with huge wraps!
