There is NO way Greenwood will be gone by pick 10. NO WAY.

You could be right, but Adelaide's first pick might be later than pick 10, if they trade it.
Still stand by my statement, Greenwood can play. Tough as nails.

Adelaide has confirmed ruckman John Meesen has told the club he wants to seek a move back to Victoria.

Crows football operations manager John Reid said Meesen, who is uncontracted for next season, was keen to investigate his options.

"John's indicated he wants to have a look around," Reid said.

Meesen, who made his AFL debut for the Crows late this season, was drafted from the Geelong Falcons in 2004.

The AFL’s trade period starts on October 8.

Well the crows have probably got enough young ruckmen at this point in time, so maybe look at trading him for a forward. Thats what the crows really need to be looking at.

Yep, they'll need someone tall enough to reach the light switch. Last one out.

listening to an interview with D Jarman today

Fudge was a HUGE wrap for Gallman, saying that he is now probably in front of McIntyre and has preedicted a big AFL future

listening to the AFL GF today, Gallman has certainly not been North's worse player

Good chance to be elevated on to the senior list

Gallman's just so average IMO.

But in saying that, he's miles better than McIntyre.

Sydney-Dog

For Mattner - I'll trust your judgement on Heath Grundy in the 'Trade week' thread

Sounds like a promising young forward which is what we need, as much as I like Mattner's style we have a few players in the squad who can do the same thing

Grundy is a quality, strong forward who is a terrific mark. There has been concerns over his speed/athleticism but there's enough to work with.

Looks like the eagles could get nothing for the Judd now with Carlton talking to Richmond to do a deal to let Judd go through to the second pick in the Pre season draft.. Would just cap off a Great season for the weagles

Wont happen, and if it did, it would be a dog act by Carlton

WCE can still deal with Richmond and lets not forget Judd said Carlton was his preferred destination not his only!

IMO WCE will get 3, 20 and Kennedy

They have 0% chance of getting the #1 pick, so they would want to be flexible

I am sure common sense will prevail and WCE will take the 2 top 20 draft picks being 3 and 20

Judd himself went at pick 3 (2002 national draft, priority pick 3 after Luke Hodge and Luke Ball)

Daniel Kerr went at pick 20, Kane Cornes at pick 18 IIRC

If they lose Judd for squat then their CEO should be sacked

Common sense will prevail and we strike up a deal involving 3 and 20 and a player IMO. Its very hard to compare picks though hondo, how many sub standard players have gone at 20. Not many 3's are as good as Judd, so its hard to compare.

Of course they are going to start of asking for the number 1 pick, if they didnt the supporters would not be happy. Both clubs will strike a deal with Carlton being the winner but WCE gettin at least some compensation.
