How will port get the two first rounders they will need to secure JHF…..or will they use one now and a future one.

Could this put the Rioli trade in doubt….

Think they will waste a future one

I would probably go with ‘invest’ rather than waste

Well done to Port if they can get him, be someone I’d like to bring into my club. Pure untapped potential

Strictly a backup defender these days is big Sav. Still can't mark the friggin ball which is a pity.

I hope North make him stay. He's a ******* flog even asking for a trade after one year. What a cockhead.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep

I agree.
The lad should stick it out for one more year as agreed then look to move on.

How bizarre that a 19 year old wants to move back to his home state?

You always run the risk when you recruit interstate talent, you can argue all you like about it but it's a tough ask to go move interstate by yourself as a young lad, moreso if you're working in an environment that you aren't enjoying.

Then don't nominate for the draft. Should have stayed at South if he didn't want to move, or play as a top up for the crowserves or powerserves if he wants an AFL badge.

It's a little concerning to hear the suggested trades for JHF.

I'm not sure why we would be so desperate to get him now.

Let him play 1 more year at North and then nominate for the PSD.
Given he's shown he'll walk out on clubs, then most won't touch him and port could get him for nicks next season.

Sure, if they'll take Pick 8 now, I'd be happy, but 2 first rounders and a player? Crazy stuff for someone we can get for 'free' next year.
I mean it's not like we are in a window and need him to win the flag in 2023.
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

if he was 100% genuine about wanting to come home he wouldn't have ruled out the Crows, if not Port he would rather stay at North

He knows Adelaide are committed to Rankine and don't have the draft capital, it's fairly obvious I'd have thought.

He has no idea or no control over what Adelaide could have offered - this never came into his thinking.

Maybe he thought he was ready, pretty sure we all thought we were bulletproof at 18. Perhaps his experience has been far from what was presented to him?

Would you like to play for the crows with their recent off-field controversy? His step-father played for Port, he's just trying to cut out wasting another two years.
