If everyone who was either or both made the paper there would be no anonymity on here.

Given the investigation is still continuing, Sam believes his focus has been compromised ahead of Saturday night’s game and therefore has decided to make himself unavailable for selection.

The way CH7 are going about this all, we may well have a few victims out of this.

From the Rucc:

The AFL and Power are continuing to investigate claims from a 20-year-old university student on Powell-Pepper’s behaviour in a nightclub that weekend — allegations of misbehaviour that Powell-Pepper is strenuously denying. He also is refusing to meet an AFL wish for him to issue an apology.

Um interesting point here, it seems CH7 seem to be changing the language that they are using now. Also if you go to Elspeth Husseys twitter feed the original tweet has been removed and the updates now have a different language....?

This is all starting to become very odd.

Very odd, not sure I buy that. Is the AFL pulling the strings? Why are they still involved anyway, it's either a police matter or it's not.

The club has had a lot of pressure to take action against 7 and against her. Maybe they are making their presence known to her

So SPP is the victim of a smear campaign now?

Seems to also line up witj Dangerfield having a crack at the media about being accountable.

As I said its all very strange.

An apology would be an admission of guilt.

No I am not suggesting that. I think the reporting from CH7 was a bit average and its going to end up damaging both parties for the sake of getting a story.

The true test is if he stays with us or leaves in a year or two. ;)

I think we'll reflect upon this when the findings are handed down.

If this is the sticking point and we miss one of your key midfielders for two weeks ( if he plays Wednesday at SANFL level there's no way he plays next week at AFL level ) then it's a ridiculous stand off.

I don't think he'll play Wednesday, it would rule him out of an AFL return next week if he did.

Yes, I know, I'm happy with the Hombsch inclusion though, as I wrote in the Essendon fall out I think we looked one tall short in defence to enable Jonas to be the third man up in contests and bring the ball to ground.

Better Neade than Thomas mate.... ;)

If not guilty and he is continually hounded he might go home.

Clearly something fishy but from which end?
