Blues started terribly but got back into it late in the quarter. Carlton kicked it out on the full 5 times in the first 10 minutes. Lucky to not be a few goals down.

Scrappy quarter, once again Fremantle burnt heaps of chances for goal. Carlton kicked a goal with 50 seconds to go, Waite had a shot with 24 seconds to go from 50 but hit the post. That would of given all the momentum to Carlton.

Not sure what Pav was thinking at the end there. Took 30-40 seconds off the clock and had a 5% chance of nailing the goal. Should have moved the ball on quicker. Caught up in the moment perhaps.
