For the record, I see no reason for Didak to leave Collingwood- I base this on public knowledge, I'm not privy to "inside the club".

Collingwood may trade him to Freo, where Benny C is training, and they could all go out regularly with Tarrant.
It wouldn't matter what they said there 'cos calling Freo a footy club is already a massive lie!

For the record, I see no reason for Didak to leave Collingwood- I base this on public knowledge, I'm not privy to "inside the club".

I didnt really slam Didak at all. A change of scenery might be good for the young man, as Didak wouldn't have the certain perks of his relationship with a Collingwood sponsor in Adelaide.

May not fit in at the Crows as i don't think he's a big gambler or has recently injured a passenger while doing burn outs

All football teams have their juvenile delinquents, unfortunately, because the guys running them aren't much different, and indulge the talented louts rather than sort them out early. My old school Cricket captain used to say, "All footballers have good reflexes but no brains!" The Hockey captain tended to agree.

I think that is a bit of an exaggeration - all pro sportsmen are pro sportsmen because that's the thing they are best at, and if they are full time pro players they earn the money for the damage done to their bodies before they are even middle aged. What is sad is that the system impedes their maturation as people. I do wonder if they would all be better off if there were no pro sport and they all had real jobs in the real world and sport just supplemented their income as it was years ago. But that is not going to happen anymore as sport is media run big business now, and the players don't matter as people to the new masters. So, they indulge them, and let them do whatever they like, and cover up for them, untill they cause BIG problems and the behaviour patterns are entrenched and hard to change.

Intelligent players with other options like John Lill, Andrew Aish, Peter Oatey, and Rick Abbott, get out before they are permanently damaged.
[Sorry all my examples are from Norwood - they are the ones I remember.]

I'd really hate to see Didak at the Power, despite his clear talent, he's a total nutcase and liability for the development of our squad.

We're likely to have a fair number of (young) new players next year and really don't need someone like Didak F-ing that up.

Anyway, he had the chance to play for the Power and said no thanks, so he can get stuffed IMO.
