Chris Judd - to Collingwood?

Talk on the national game

What a joke

Says he only wants to leave WCE to be closer to family then surely he should do the right thing by the club and give them a couple of clubs so they can get the best deal. But no, he will choose Collingwood because Eddie has been talking to him during the year and can give Twigley a leg up in the media. Makes me sick

I am sure the club would take players if they were young and good enough to make our 22 every week SD but if Collingwood offer crappy picks with a second rate player because they know he wont go anywhere else, i would be more than happy for the club to say try your luck in the PSD with the tigers and good luck for the next 3 years not playing finals footy.

I hope he makes a decision either way soon so we can all stop hearing about it because to be honest our club has got bigger issues at hand than Chris Judd.

Pup

the mail from WA is that the Eagles believe the deal with the Pies was done some time ago, and the Eagles are prepared to lose Judd for nothing rather than deal with Collingwood, similar to the Power Stevens situation

Judd may nominate the Pies, however, getting thier is his and his managements biggest challenge

Sounds like the AFL should disband and hand over Collingwood to the Tigers as a fitting reward for their poaching behaviour. That would solve a lot of problems!

I've hear he'll be happy to sit out a season if he doesn't get the deal he wants. From a fairly good source too.

I heard that too dogwatcher!

Maybe taking a year off would do wonders for his career. Really give his groin time to heal, and also get rid of all those nagging injuries.

Look at what having a year off did for Warney's career...

If Judd did end up at Collingwood, it would be somewhat ironic that a team that has earnt the respect of the footy world this year through the fighting efforts of their kids, picks up one of the most respected (leaving talent aside for a minute) players in footy, and everyone would instantly hate them.

People instantly hate Collingwood anyway..
doesn't matter if they have Judd or not, it's just no one wants them to get any advantage...
How could a Melbourne supporter as a kid honestly choose to go to Collingwood though   it would surely be a turn up
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

pathetic & very immature attitude by some people here- Collingwood are entitled to persue Judd just as everyone else is.
If he ends up at Collingwood, get over it, because if he doesn't, I know I'll get over it very quickly...
