I doubt it, not the type of player the Kanga's need

Alan Obst was REALLY impressive today. Genuinely quick, aggressive and a great mark. Obviously his main flaw and his undoing was his kicking, but we drafted Gill for crying out loud and Obst is no worse.

To me Obst has massive upside. Blokes who are 192cm and that quick don't come around too often. I wouldn't mind having him back on the list because with a bit of work on the kicking he could be a decent AFL player.

Best thing for the crows is look around first.
One of the Johnson brothers at Essendon wants out with a fresh start
Carlton delisted Teague
Didak
And that is just off top my head

Players need to be traded
McGregor
Doughty
Meesen
Hudson

Players are Gone
Roo
Perie
Jerihco

Players must keep
Campbell
Welsh
Mattner

Players must get out of SANFL
Greenwood- Plays for Port Adelaide, tough quick and reminds me of a davey and wells type of player.
J Wunke- Plays for North is only 17, has a great set of hands and reminds me on a Westoff type of player.
Blackwell- Take a wildcard on a player, he mature and maybe a way to go to toughn up midfield
Hurley- Played at Sturt done a knee, SA's captain last year, worth a punt. Appraintly should have been taken.

Killa,

Teague was a good player but too slow for the game. Tough as nail though...
Backwell, was delisted by Carlton also. Good player, won BOTH the Liston
& Magarey but IMO too small for AFL football. He's now 27 and would be a big gamble.

Have no interest in any of those players.

Hurley's disposal is what cost him a place on an AFL list, and a year out with a knee reconstruction wouldn’t have done him any favours considering he was slow as it was.

I cant see you getting much for him. Maybe a 3rd round pick, but thats pushing it.

As for the others, well there pretty much gone anyway. Will be interesting to see what the crows can get from trade week.

I'd rather Havelberg and Salter than Obst. Though, that was the best game I've seen Obst play yesterday.

Best game I've seen him play too. And Havelberg is running on the credits earnt by kicking 14 in one game. He works hard but doesn't seem to quite have "it" (whatever that is...).

Haven't you seen greenwood play. averages nearly 20 touches a game been in Port best for most of the year. He was SA's best player in the U/18's Chapionships and miss out in All-Australian side, but I don't know how. Basically have you seen this kid play because he is hard as nails. Greenwood is a top 10 draft pick.
With Wunke all I would do is put him on the Rookie list while he is only 17 with a big future.

However SA teams have the best chance by picking a 22 to 25 year olds who is matured and ready for AFL.

Greenwood can play and is worth looking at IMO, but i reckon he might be gone by Adelaide's first pick.

Adelaide would lose Hudson and McGregor to the Bulldogs - and its No. 10 draft pick to Brisbane.

In return, the Crows get, with these advantages:

ROOKIE ruckman Cameron Wood, 20, who would return home to be part of an inexperienced Adelaide ruck unit working to the lead of Rhett Biglands in his comeback season from a serious knee injury.

DEFENDER Jordan McMahon, 24, who allows Craig to finally release Graham Johncock from Adelaide's back six to play in the midfield rotations.

PACY key position player Stephen Tiller, 20, who offers speed to a team needing it.

DRAFT pick No. 5 from the Bulldogs that advances the Crows five spots from the No. 10 it currently holds and sends to Brisbane in return for Wood. This enhances Adelaide's hopes of claiming Port Adelaide Magpies midfielder-forward and SA under-18 captain Brad Ebert in November's national draft.

Agreed, that's both a realistic and positive outcome.

Rumours about Didak are rubbish. He will not be moving from Collingwood, especially to a club with a losing culture like Adelaide.
losing culture???? how many times have the fagpies finished in the bottom 4 in the last ten years compared to the crows.

Pass on Havelberg. Too slow, lumbering to play a KPP at AFL level.
