A bit of perspective though, $180k is still very good for an ex footballer who has earnt on average $500k for a number of years, most likely financially secure. Especially if they have head coach aspirations where there is huge upside.

Problem with being from outside the club is that they haven’t been brainwashed about The Creed

Id happily take that and so would every SANFL coach

I've removed all fluffy "head of" or "strategy" roles, and just looked at assistant & development coaches, so no VFL or SANFL coaches either unless they're listed by the team as an AFL assistant or development coach.
