It was no coincidence that Eddie and JJ got so many goals 10-20m out. They had the opportunity as the ball came in that quickly and deep they got separation from the one on one.

Big changes needed.

Nah, stick with them, I am sure they will come good. ;)

The timing of Smith's injury in 2017 couldn't have been worse, it really hurt in the last 3 weeks of 2017 and he's not the dynamic player that he was when he went down in 2019. The penetration he's lost is obvious.

Interestingly over the past 24 months players like Betts, JJ, Greenwood etc have been called spuds and now the very same people are saying how handy these players would be in their team

I was the one getting the ball off the tarp, thank you very much.

A few posters back pedalling pretty hard in case their club ‘wins’ the Jenkins lottery for next season

Jenkins is a dead set spud in Adelaide's team but as I have said previously, I think he would be a handy player in a decent team. I think he could do ok at Geelong sitting in a forward pocket next to Tommy.

Happily take him at Carlton at years end.
Would suit Carlton well. Another bigger body to support Cripps. With guys like Walsh, Fisher and Dow coming on that would actually improve Carlton some what.

Maybe a mid to late 2nd rounder?

I'd rather keep him over M Crouch. Greenwood has the ability to go forward, take big marks & kick goals or even go back.

I'm not sure that you guys will have a choice, I don't think he'll be sticking around, there has to be a skeleton in the closet with him to be overlooked as much as he has this year when they could clearly use him ahead of others.

They dropped him for the Carlton game and took Andy "No Skills" Otten instead.

Cats better not go after jenkins, we have ratuglea who is the exact opposite (runs at the ball/pack) and i dont think 3 talls fit in the fwd line.

The strangest selection decision for some time.

Jenkins and Himmelberg are running around Richmond Oval and Otten is in Perth taking on the Eagles.

Wasn't Otten on Petruccelle at one stage? Slowest player in AFL playing on the quickest.
