All of a sudden he has become a dud. Your forward line is crud, look at the third term yesterday...no reward for effort. Tippett becomes more crucial after Walkers injury. If you have Tippett then Lynch can go back to the Snaffle where he belongs.

Exactly, never underestimate a key forward that provides a contest and that's what Tippet does really well, it's a huge part of footy.

Almost as funny as everyone who claimed Tippett was rubbish last year and have now changed their tune. Peoples perceptions go both ways. As for the crows yesterday, they were to slow and kept second guessing themselves. Any type of confidence we might have had was demolished by the swans

Anyone that thinks the Crows aren't missing Tippett is deluded.

I said all last year that Tippett was way overrated. Haven't changed my opinion as he hasn't played a game however he is a loss for the Crows as he took away the best 1-2 defenders with him leaving Walker open and kick goals with ease

Over rated whilst spending most of the year out injured? Over rated whilst almost getting the crows to a gf?

Definitely missing him, but last season he played less than a handful of good games considering the money he was on. Yep, he played a great game in the prelim and nearly helped us get into a GF, but was worse then rubbish the two finals before that game, he was that poor against Fremantle you could argue nearly also cost us a prelim shot. He was only rated so highly because of what we paid him, having said this, I would love to still have him at the Crows. Sydney are going to be tougher to beat with him there. Could he have played reserves this weekend for them to be ready for AFL next week?

Your lack of football knowledge is astounding. Was it Tippett's fault he missed over half the year with concussion? Was it Tippett's fault he got paid even close to the figure you are alluding too?

Swans reserves had a bye this weekend, but the Swans had a closed internal trial, and Tippett showed enough to come into strong consideration next weekend. Hope he does play, as it will be interesting to see what reaction he gets from the Port crowd. Are all South Australians brain dead idiots? Or just Crow supporters?

He has to play doesn't he? What better place for him to play his first at his previous home ground and not against his previous club. Pretty sure most port supporters were not a massive fan while he was at the crows, can't see that changing. I personally wouldn't go down and watch as a crows supporter to boo him like others might, don't see the point in it to be honest.

Sorry I was unaware the Adelaide football club played 42 AFL games last year but as your say my lack of football knowledge is astounding.
If Kurt missed half the season and still played 21 games (as stated in the AFL Record season guide 2013) I guess $850K for 1 good game is an excellent return on investment for the Adelaide football club.

How many games exactly did he miss because of injury or concussion last year? I don't have the 2013 season guide on hand.

I think it would have been between 6-8 maybe? I'm not sure either. At the end of this season may not be much difference in the two seasons, except that IMO he will be wearing a medal at the end of this one!
