He means if you catch the bus. For example I come from Mt Barker and the last bus leaves an hour after the game. So if I choose to stay for a few more beers and then miss that, I'm ******.

Yes, but going to the AO you could choose to use regular public transport services either side of the 'football services'.

For example, you might decide to catch a 4pm bus/train into town and have a feed before the game. Or go out and get pissed after a game and catch the 7am bus home the next day.

This can be done to West Lakes, but why would you when you'd have to use at least 2 services (into city, out to WL) not to mention it taking forever.

SKYCITY Entertainment Group is seeking tax cuts as a condition of its $250 million expansion of the Adelaide Casino including a footbridge across the Torrens to link with the Adelaide Oval redevelopment.

“We are happy to be involved and more than happy to pay for a bridge that links the Oval with this side of the River Torrens – especially if it brings 50,000 patrons past our door.”

This is an example of the spin off's throughout Adelaide due to the oval re-development. Exciting times.
Imagine, the new bars of the casino overlooking the torrens and AO, as the crowds swarm in over the bridge after a friday or saturday night game. Will be awesome, it WILL change the whole dynamics of the city. Why wouldn't Sky city throw money at this, they are in a perfect position geographically and economically.

Can hardly wait for more pokies at the Casino and more addicts relying on the government for handouts
