I don't know what you have against the Crows Stan, unless you are a Port supporter still resenting NOT getting the first SA based AFL licence.
[Personally, I don't think Port should have ever gotten an AFL licence as a reward for their arrogant treachery to SA football.]

Not a port supporter at all mate. Been a Eagles member for a while now. Always go to see my team in adelaide play. Also go a few times a year with my partner to see her crows play. Cant stand the crow supporters, for some reason you guys have no knowledge of the game. Watching football in victoria is sooo different and much better in my opinion. I say it they understand the rules (as much as you can at the moment) as anyone.

As for the Port AFL licence, well thats your beef make sure you hang on to it a while or maybe just blame the labour government whatever makes you happy.

Nothing like getting kicked out of the comp as a failed experiment just because you lose in round 1 to the reigning premiers. Methinks more than 1 game's frustrations are coming out in this thread.

I'd support that in principle, in fact I have advocated the SA based teams supporting each other in the AFL in the past on this site.

My wife supports the Power because of family connections, and I support them in sympathy except when they play the Crows, and she does the same supporting my team. [I was supporting the Power against Geelong the other night.] I also support them as a second team of SA origin so long as they don't play up the connection to the PA "Maggies" FC too much - my years of supporting Norwood make that intolerable!.

However, the constant anti-Crows pettiness, and the "Cows" designation, get right up my nose at times, and you can only ignore it so many times before the urge to bite back becomes overwhelming.

My god its a bit of humour. Remember the Commerical it was funny and still is. Its just one of those things that stick around for a while. God you really are a sad person if you cant at least take some humour from it.

Bit like Geelong a few years back? I remeber how much F*cking around you guys used to do with the football until some genuis actually decided to kick the bloody thing. Watching Geelong through those years was like watching port now. Now look a great team. Should win the flag again this year - If they dont then they have under achieved for the team they have.

Something that gets me is that Geelong supporters really came out of the wood work last season, bar Wedgie and REB. Other than that I hadnt heard from anymore of them. Now we have fester etc on here. Also the that your all so f*cking arrogant at the moment, remember how things were going a few seasons ago, the coach was being looked at the players were unfit and with a super squad you couldnt do shite!!! back to the woodwork - I have never seen some many Geelong supporters, where the F*ck were you wankers when your club needed you through those tough years???? I already addressed that issue earlier in the topic mate.

Port Power losing by 9 points has nothing to do with driving people away from the game, playing a crap brand of football more intent on going backwards and sidewiays has everything to do with it, I was just as critical of Geelong about 3 years ago when they did the same.

Also, I don't know one Geelong supporter that only came out of the woodwork last year, I do on the other hand know of a lot of Crows supporters that came out of the woodwork and supported Geelong in the Grand Final last year, not that I blame them, any South Australian with teeth would/should have done the same.

I put up with Port idiots crap for 19 years after 89 although they kicked a lower score against our Premiership side earlier in the century, they told me that that wasnt relevent as it wasn't recent, well now 89 wasn't recent but 07 and 08 sure as hell is so Im going to be dishing it up for another 19 years. Port supporters can rest assured I'll stop the onslaught in 2027.

Evans Port Power have only won One premiership in the AFL and 36 in the SANFL. Geelong has won ONE premiership in the AFL. Geelong has won 6 VFL premierships and 9 VFA/VFL premierships.
