There was no way on God's green earth that Wanganeen was traded by Essendon. Absolutely no way did the club want to lose him

I too heard that, my original quote was from the day he had his exit interview. Came from someone close to him.

Imagine being the best in the league at the position you play, then being moved away from that position. Not surprised.

How he is not ports starting centreman is beyond me.
