32 next year, isn't a dynamic player who will win us our next premiership and easily replaceable by youth in 2018...not surprising at all.

Not sure that I ever achieved that, seen daylight in town on a Saturday morning a few times and thought I better rush home for some shut eye.

There's a few more you could throw on the scrap heap at North using that rationale

Gibson was getting a game more often than not due to our horrendous injury list. We still needed some mature heads amongst all the kids we blooded.
Of the injured players that did not play the final game of the season that would get a game before him are; Williams, Jacobs, Ziebell, Wright, Garner, Waite, Wood, Preuss, MacMillan, Vickers-Willis. I expect Junker & Ahearn to play league footy in 2018. Hibberd, Zurhaar & Nielson have all tasted league footy this year too.
Those in that final round team who won’t be playing in 2018 IMO are; Mullett, Gibson (both delisted), Hansen (retired), Thomas, Swallow (past it), Atley (hasn’t taken the next step) & McKay (fringe).

Why would you be offering a injury prone Waite a 1 year contract?
