So who now appeals what, when, to who and why?

ASADA/WADA have 21 days to lodge an appeal.

Still figure the players need to know what they were given.

This verdict is just against the players, correct? Nothing against the Essendon FC?

ASADA will be told to pull their head in by the government and WADA generally only appeal if they consider the sentence too lenient or there is a positive test

The club is in no further strife with the AFL.
Players are free to play this week and club wont be punished further

So all in all the players can have their minds put to rest and that of their partners and infant children by there being full disclosure of what it was they were given.

Good news for all. Can't wait to find out.

You can't be serious? Your players still can't confirm what they have been injected with. Your just like all the other Essendon muppet fans thinking they haven't done anything wrong.

Lol, im sure thats comfort for the taxpayers of Australia who have seen squillions wasted on a watertight case that got absolutely destroyed by an independent tribunal.
Not saying they havnt done anything wrong but they were proven not guilty, im not sure the libs will be happy to throw more money at ASASA for an appeal

You do realise that WADA can take this matter to the court of sport arbitration, were it is usually seen as you are guilty until you prove you are innocent. The only reason why the correct result of guilty wasn't given today was because the dogs at Essendon FC destroyed all of the records. This case is very far from being over and there are a lot of people inside Essendon that need to be bought forward and dealt with especially Hird and the Dr. The one thing Essendon can be certain about is they are drug cheats and have a filthy dog as a coach.

Guess we will have to wait and see.
Love McDevitt saying on Thursday that he hopes Essendon accepts the umpires decision and doesnt appeal, now the shoe is on the other foot he isnt happy.
If WADA comes in so be it, if they are found guilty they will cop their whack, guess we have another 21 days to wait

Everyone will have an opinion on it. I think the Dons are guilty as hell, but did an excellent job of tying up the loose ends/smoking guns. Probably helped that AD tipped them off, then quietly and prematurely slunk away from the mess. Happy with the result for the players though, and would be even happier to see the whole sordid ordeal consigned to history. Would be great to get on with the game without this cloud hovering it and detracting from it.

Put it in perspective

Saad banned for 18 months for having an energy drink on the only day of the week he was not allowed too
Essendon players systematically injecting substances for 2 years and getting off scott free because Essendon admin are so inept at keeping records they can't prove anything against them

Watching the Jobe Watson interview, it looks like they went down to Brunswick St and found that shirt for him to wear & grabbed everyone off the footpath to stand behind him.

Hate Essendon with a passion but the club already copped their whack. Probably time to move on but I reckon asada or wada are going to appeal which if I'm right they can summons dank to testify under oath as a hostile witness
