Sides expected to be top 8, it doesn't matter
Sides expected to be bottom 8, needs to win

So where does Port sit?

If they arent targeting/expecting top 8 with that list...they should be targeting top 4

Highly overrated list IMO.

How is their list better than last year?

Absolutely. I have them in the mix for a top 4 spot.

Along with the never ending foward entry deficiency, Ruck is looking to be a problem. Lycett's moving like he's 45, Hayes aint up to it, Teakle is unknown, Visentini is raw and it would be unfair to expect too much out of Finlayson with what he's going through.

We've only got Lycett, Hayes, Finlayson, Teakle, Dixon, Visentini, Marshall, Marshall and Scully over 195cm and still have a problem in the ruck.

Not really.
They never played finals last year and I can’t see how they’ve improved.
They’ve lost arguably their greatest ever player to retirement and also arguably their best player from last year in Amon.
Dixon, Boak, Jonas, Lycett are all the wrong side of 30 as well.
Plus they have a coach who persists with a game plan that doesn’t work.

They will finish in the 8-12 range like previous years I think.

Carlton odds on to be one of those teams to stack it at the final turn.

FWIW, I thing your prediction is bang on.

Same Sh@t different year….still waiting for my membership pack and cards to get into the game next Saturday.
How hard is it? Maybe they do it in alphabetical order as my last name starts with a letter at the end of the alphabet.
Switch on Port membership team!
