Irrespectve of the score I'm liking our work-rate at the minute, especially our tackling pressure. Gotta keep it up though boys two and a half quarters to go.....

boys are running hard and tackling well. stiffy and mcleod great across half back and burton bock and bode mixing it up in the forward line

So far so good, but 22 points is a very small margin to start being cocky. 3 quick goals in 8 or 10 minutes (highly possible) and it's anyone's game again.

Was at the game and eagles simply ran harder....think the Crows were thinking about the red and white uniforms at half time rather than blue and yellow. The crows fans I was with were talking about hosw they were going to get the melb etc....

That is what it sounded like on the radio, in the last half. No excuses from this end, simply out worked in the last half which is disappointing. I stated earlier that Stuey would have his west Coast Eagles boys primed fitness wise and he did....

Craig did a good job with an ordinary overall list.
8 weeks ago when AC was at thier peak they had that unstoppable
forward line of BURTON, HENTSCHELL, ROO and MCGREGOR all
kicking goals, today they only had a 3/4 fit BURTON.
They were replaced with BOCK, WELSH, PERRIE who were underdone.
The weakness today was the legs against that elite midfield of WC.
The dropping of DOUGLAS and MASSIE was questionable , but someone
had to go.
Its a pity luck deserted Craig, unlike Blight who had his fair share.
2007 will be a pivotal year as I can see them missing finals after that.

3rd is no disgrace, but they have choked a few times in recent years.

perrie was bloody hopeless, bock not much better except for his late goal (imho) and tyson edwards never went the first option and hung on to it too long too often, and i know i will get jumped on for whingeing but either side of half time the green magots made crucial errors firstly the non free kick to burton with seconds to go and then the ridiculous 50m penalty that ultimately resulted in an eagles goal early in the third not to mention that pathetic attempt at the centre bounce which wasnt recalled and a host of other 50/50 decision/non decisions that all went west coasts way in the second half and the rest is history, no prizes for saying we sorely need a game breaking forward a la pavlich, one k mcgregor can feel very annoyed in my book for missing out perries expense. send the softcock back to the west where he belongs

Wasnt it the clubs catch cry when entering the AFL that they would have several flags by now????????

After years of putting up with taunts from pathetic Crows supporters (whos club was doing 3/5ths of F all at the time anyway) of being chokers, there is going to be a lot of payback to some people after the last two years. Karmas a bitch.
