Doubt they have finished yet. But with Cameron coming on nicely I doubt petrenko will ever be in our best 22 again, so may as well get rid of him

Peternko is not in your best 42!
The fat rabbit looking guy filling water bottles dribbling on himself is more value at half forward than that spud!

Yeah had to laugh at the media using the escape clause line. Was out of contract and has played 4 games in the last 2 years, do they really think we were going to offer him a new contract lol

Mitch Clarke reportedly met with Mitch Clarke today, trade involving Stanton going the other way. Clarke's partner is studying in Melbourne and he is looking at moving over there.
Saints are also in the mix

Ridiculous really that he doesn't go back to Melbourne if he wants to play again.

When he left he'd added 2" to his biceps, dropped %3 body fat and ran home in a PB time

This I find strange. Why wouldn't he start up again with Melbourne. Strange he would go to Essendon and start again. Very strange.

When he left Brisbane, was his intent to go back to Perth with family, IIRC?

Barrett said he was studying in Melbourne atm and said he thought it was unlikely he would leave Melbourne (the city)
He also said Melbourne might seek a trade given he is still technically contracted this year.
Also not quite sure why he wouldn't stay at Melbourne. Maybe contractual issues given he was on monster coin and melb wouldn't pay that now?
