Sorry mate! Sheesh of all things to call people!

My potshot was down to the fact that I used to catch two buses to go to Norwood, Football Park, even that 5hitehole Elizabeth and freeze your ar5e off Carlunga. But I have to admit I was a lot younger then and with no kiddies to consider. Please accept my apologies! Play on.

No sweat mate - but it raises another point I wasn't really considering. Maybe I'd give more of a 5hit about the AFL if I could watch my team (bombers) a little more often LIVE. Once or twice a year is hardly enough to stir the passion.

But 6 hour round trip for the footy has knobs on it. I can go to the SANFL (or SAAFL), watch 2 games of footy and kick the footy with smac jr then get home again in less than that time.

The Collingwood & North game was a good 'un...

The Hawks & Bears pretty good too...

Crows & Crockers...shite...let's run down the clock for 11 minutes boys

smaccer I agree, with comments re time at footy...my olds spend 6 hours plus on a cows adventure....

thats 6 hours of wasted time IMO...

On the subject of umpiring, I thought the blokes up at the Gabba were exceptional tonight, let the game go and it took care of itself, wish there was more of it.

Only 1 obvious blemish I noticed (the deliberate out of bounds against Jordan Lewis was a pretty ordinary decision to say the least).

Agree with NM about the bounce issue, surely they have to start recalling them or throwing it up (as much as I've always argued against that in the past).

Geelong, Hawks and WB don't play 'keepings off'?

There's lots of different tactics used ... flooding, zoning, slowing the play down, holding possession. These are tactics all teams use at times.

I accept some teams do it much more than others and some games are much better than others.

Plus, if you have the cattle you can usually play whatever style you want! :D

If Collingwood supporters want to blame someone then blame A.Didak! 20 m out on the run with only minutes to go.....and he misses.
