I just listened to the Pod cast

The question was asked to craigy,

"will this be the biggest clean out in Craigy's time at the club, could it be expected that the club will move on 7-8 players"

Craigy's response was

Adelaide have drafted 5 players per year in his time, however the club needs to review it's list and be more aggressive in the trades and draft, depending on the talent available

Craigy never nominated a number, the media did

Kenny McGregor wants out - if the club won't trade him he has told them he will just go in the draft

As reported on 5AA tonight

To me that's a shame altho I can understand his frustration - I have always rated him even tho he never fully cemented a spot in the team

Rumours about Didak are rubbish. He will not be moving from Collingwood, especially to a club with a losing culture like Adelaide.

I suggested this would happen half way through the year, he aint going ot be a 200 game AFL player at teh Crows, good decision for his own career....I reckon Bullies would love him at CHB

I reckon Collingwood will offer him up as trade bait if Judd says hes leaving the Eagles and returning to Vic.

I'd like him at Carlton too...I think Kenny is OK and would add a bit to our mob...

Interesting comments by Didak being interviewed after the game

Made a couple of veiled digs at the coaching staff for not letting him play more in the midfield - he brought up the issue both times without prompting

Something' amiss there

I think Didak's stocks may have gone up last night. He was very good last night and may in fact be more than just a small forward.

daicos

you are far from the Mark, Didak wants out

how do you figure the Pies have a better winning culture than Adelaide, don't get too carried away with last nights result, lets base it on the last few years, Pies have struggled to make the finals, last year were absolutely humiliated by a young WB outfit, next week the same will happen

if you want to talk about culture

Didak wants to leave because of the double standard culture at the footy club

look at all the incidents involving Tarrant, Johnson, Davis and a host of young players, none of them were paraded in front of the media like didak, more so the club forced didak to front the media, however did not allow him to answer any question, the insanctions imposed on Didak are totally inconsistent to the treatment of Davis and Johnson

It you want to talk about Culture, that is the very reason for Didak wanting to leave

Carlton, Richmond, WB, Freo and Melb have all expressed interest in Kenny

the crows may have some trading options

As I posted earlier I'd like him at Carlton, but the Blues have said that they will only recruit blokes 24 and under...Kenny is 26 (?).

The crows have invested alot in Kenny over the years ( just shy of 150 games ) so they better get something good for him and not just let him slip away.

Be strong Crows

Side note good on Kenny for comin out on the front foot to - he will probably get more $$$ elsewhere as well.

On Kenny

Kenny is out of contract, so if he decides on Richmond or Carlton, the crows are in Danger of losing Kenny in the pre-season draft and getting nothing for him

On Didak

we need to be mindful, Didak is out of contract, he is on a 1 warning policy with the club, 1 more incident and he is gone. This may be a clever strategy from his manager, linking him to Adelaide to increase his contract, and to remove the 1 warning clause

ha ha ha

all I am saying, these rumours are strong, however most times these rumours are leaked by their own management, as a deliberate strategy

lets look at the Pav situation earlier in the year, his management played it beautifully, they refused toi neg with Freo until the coaching situation was decided, they then stated Pav was considering going home, in the end Pav got his wish, more money and the coach to be sacked

this has a lot of comparisons to the Didak situation, out of contract, wants more money, wants the 1 warning clause removed from his contract, Adelaide may just be the lever to achieve this

I actually dont really mind if that is what there managements want to achieve those sort of things !!!

I just want the crows to be more aggressive in active trading !!!
