We also need to fill the hole at CHF, and let Walker learn the game in a forward pocket perhaps.
He takes his opportunities but doesn't generate many still, and that is not enough at CHF.
Johncock didn't do much either, but I suspect we need to look at the short game style rather than individuals.
Hawthorn hand balled longer to men in the clear, while the Crows hand balled short to players already under pressure.
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!

I agree his form is not good but how many times do u see our midfielders lower their eyes and hit porps on a lead. We just bomb it long to tippett. Every side knows we do it and if tip doesnt mark it then we are outnumbered on the ground. Good luck being any small forward trying to play in those circumstances.

He is obviously not right after missing the majority of pre-season if not all, so rather than send him back to Westies - he just needs to be sent to the paddock and spelled - get his body right, any surgery well let's book him in now and look forward to 2011.

We need to do the same with Van Berlo and his back, get Tippett 100% right for next year and the same with Bock.

We shouldn't be looking at finals - we are not good enough this year, so let's prepare properly for 2011, including talking to Paul Roos for 2012 - if the West Coast are starting to talk to his management team, then let's beat them to it.

Spot on C11.
Porps is playing injured, as the depth is non-existent.

LMAO

I just reckon he looks fat when compared to last year, which is probably due to the aforementioned discussion on him missing pre season. Has one of those body shapes that needs to be fit as possible.

I dont think its an injury, just dropped to find additional form and fitness. You dont have to swap 'like for like' these days, it depends on how you structure up and the way you want to play. Mcleod will play foward IMO

Yeah i thought he would have been kept in, but they need the running power/speed of Mckay and probably think Mcleod can play down back or up forward. Porps is unlucky, but his lack of pre season has killed what should have been a big year for him.
