Crows vs Blues

Postby Blue Boy » Thu May 25, 2006 3:34 pm

Last week I did not post for the crows game as I thought why discuss it when the Crows should smash the Tigers.

I was wrong !!!

Hopefully the Crows show more respect to there opposition this week. I rekon the crows must make a statement this week against the Blues.
It is what it is !!!

it will be interesting to see, first the reaction at the selection table, secondly on saturday, hopefully they put the blues to the sword.

My feeling is Torney will definitely come in for Hart, other possible changes, Steven's must be under some pressure and I think it's time for Maric to come in, if that has to be at the expense of Clarke, I feel that it needs to be done

Welsh and Knights will also come under consideration......

It will be interesting to see how Carlton set up it's forward line, with Waite out, I think they need to consider pushing either Kouta or Big Red up forward

just another observation on the crows.....

In regards to the Birdman, I am not sure if he is carrying an injury but one game in every three he looks to be very heavy in the legs, last week at times he could not even put in a chase, I have noticed this before, but the following week, he runs very well on top of the ground

anyone else picked this up ???

I reckon we will smash Carlton this week. At home, and coming off a loss (that probably should never have happened) I'd hate to be on the recieving end of that.

After a couple of good performances in consecutive weeks ,methinks the cranium may swell in this individual and hence affects his ability to "fly" ........ :P

Edwards out of Carlton clash

Tyson Edwards has dropped out of Adelaide's 22 to face Carlton at AAMI Stadium on Saturday.

His sore ankle failed to respond quickly to constant treatment and the in-form midfielder was unable to train on Friday morning, opening the door for Hayden Skipworth to return to the side.

Edwards rolled the ankle jogging back to the rooms after the club's recovery session in The Crows Shed on Monday afternoon.

"We didn't think it was too bad at the time," coach Neil Craig said. "He's not far off but he's not good enough to play. Skipworth will come in for him."

Ruccuitto,Edwards and Hart are having a less than helpful run with injuries in the latter part of their career's,let's hope it doesn't impact on their durability.
